In this small book, Pope Benedict leads a scripture study on the Infancy Narratives. The first two Chapters are on the Annunciation and events leading to Christ's birth. We will discuss these this Monday Dec 14 and Monday Dec 21. The last two Chapters on the birth and events following. We will cover those two Chapters on the successive Monday nights during the Christmas season proper. At the conclusion of our study, we hope to have an in person social for those who participated!
The book can be purchased for $20 on Amazon, and if you have Prime it is one day shipping. It can also be purchased as an audio book, however pre-reading the text is not necessary for the study.
Why Zoom? While we are discussing plans for hybrid in person / virtual Bible Studies for the new year, we are sticking with Zoom right now, as we have used it for our Catechism Classes. Since we are in the habit of Monday Zoom Catechism Classes, we are sticking with that through the Christmas season.
